A
cool summer evening, smell of freshly bloomed jacaranda’s filling the air, enthusiastic
crowd of teachers, mentors and students; a plethora of natural materials like-jute,
fabric, shells, beads, and an eager potpourri of visitors waiting to try their
hands at different mediums; no better way of spending an evening amidst nature
at a workshop which was designed with earthy tones and craft in mind.
Last
Saturday, on 28th of June, WLCI Sainik
Farms Campus, Delhi hosted a Nature workshop- U, Me and Nature, which was open
and free for all students and visitors from 4.00 to 7.30 pm. Participants dabbled
in various mediums of art & design to create articles like graffiti painted
T-shirts, glass-art, screen-painted scarves, block-printed objects and many
more artifacts made out of natural materials. Here are the details of some of

to students, participants, visitors, teachers, mentors and organizers; for
organizing and making such a unique and successful event. All in all the
experience of a workshop amidst nature was rejuvenating and replenishing and
everyone left the venue with a smile on their face, encoring for more such
events…
