Portrait making is an art that requires years of practice to
achieve perfection. It is the art of replicating a person on canvas. Getting
the features right is a tedious task as it should share the likeliness of the
muse. WLCI School of Advertising and Graphic Design, brought in the best to
teach the student’s this art. Ms. Mekhla Harrison has over a decade of
experience in her bag. She was definitely the artist for this task. Mekhla took
it upon herself to illustrate the art by taking the time to demonstrate.
Charcoal and paper were here chosen tools to reveal her technical expertise.
She drew charcoal portraits of the students using her famed talent. Check out
more images of the art at http://goo.gl/8rZJCn

- Rely on your judgment and not the applicant’s resume while hiring employees. They may not have the qualifications but instead have a greater aptitude than one who does.
- Seek advice and be resourceful. But, don’t lose track of your goals, no one knows that better than you.
- Hierarchies are for the riches, one day you would reach that position. But, today be available and approachable to your employee’s.
- Build relations with customers, clients and most importantly your employees.
- Diversity makes our nation great, learn from this trick and employ linguistically and regionally different candidates.
- Learning the art of administration while building a business is tough. Instead, invest in an experienced outsourced company for this task and build a strong foundation for your company.
- Patience is the greatest virtue. Struggle and hurdle are a part of life, be it professional or personal. Adapt a hobby to keep your mind distracted from the problems but still focused on the goals.
- Hiring interns proves to be rewarding as a fresher will have far more enthusiasm. They can liven up the work environment with their energy.
- Don’t forget to have fun. While building a future for one’s self, people overlook the importance of today. Work hard but party harder !
